Perth Grammar School’s Young Philanthropists Support SHARP

We are delighted to share some exciting news with our SHARP community. Rose and Lily, two dedicated pupils from Perth Grammar School, have chosen SHARP as their charity for the Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) project. For those unfamiliar, YPI is a competition where school students select and advocate for a charity, with the winning team receiving a generous £3,000 donation. Rose and Lily expressed their commitment with the following heartfelt message:

“We have chosen your charity because someone in our family has had an issue with their heart, and we would like to help other people with this issue so they can live a healthy, happy life. We promise to try our best to win the money for you because you mean a lot to us.”

We are truly inspired by the dedication of these young students and their desire to make a difference. Their passion reflects the impact that the next generation can have on improving community health.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Sir Ian Wood and The Wood Foundation. Your support for YPI empowers young people like Rose and Lily to engage in meaningful philanthropic efforts, which in turn enables charities like SHARP to continue their vital work. We are thrilled to share that Rose and Lily won the YPI competition, securing a £3,000 donation for SHARP. We look forward to collaborating with Perth Grammar School on how best to utilise these funds to further our mission. Thank you again to everyone involved for your support and dedication.
