We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the SHARP & Scottish Lipid Forum Annual Meeting 2026, taking place on 12–13 November 2026 at Crieff Hydro Hotel.
The Annual Meeting brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, students, and colleagues from across Scotland, the wider UK, and beyond for two days of education, discussion, collaboration, and networking focused on the latest developments in cardiovascular disease prevention, lipid management, and clinical practice.
The organising committee, led by Professor Mary Joan MacLeod, Chair of SHARP, and Dr Rosemary Clarke, Chair of the Scottish Lipid Forum, is developing an exciting programme informed by feedback from previous meetings and designed to reflect current priorities in cardiovascular health.

Programme highlights
The 2026 programme will explore key topics shaping cardiovascular disease prevention, lipid management, and clinical practice.
The SHARP programme will include sessions covering national data programmes and clinical audit, cardiovascular disease management in patients with cancer, and updates on emerging antithrombotic therapies.
Delegates will also hear from speakers working across Scotland’s remote and rural communities, sharing innovative approaches to care and discussing the challenges of delivering services in diverse settings, including stroke care and the use of GLP-1 receptor agonists.
The Scottish Lipid Forum programme will address important questions in lipid care, including lipid management in older adults and the current role of lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] within clinical practice.
